It finally arrived!!!
Finally here!!
Fun little surprise in the mail this morning- Our DCWC Statues finally arrived! Shipping a game is very difficult at times and it’s always nice to acknowledge that by treating your team right and letting them know you appreciate their hard work. Our San Francisco Studio Leadership wanted to do just that and commemorate the special occasion by having these statues created. Truly one of the nicest team gifts I’ve ever received as part of a dev team! TAKEOFF Creative; it was a pleasure working with them along the way. The packaging and note look great, especially with our logo on them. The statue itself looks wonderful; the colors and attention to detail are superb. I’m really glad we were able to capture this heartfelt moment from Superman’s Victory Cutscene- still one of my favorite cutscenes we created.
Big thanks to our Good Times Group for the idea of a statue as a gift, our Studio Director, Katelynd L. for green lighting the statues and attaching a heartwarming note to each statue, Josiah M. for the awesome models that were used in the game and for posing, and Aaron Hwang for the fantastic poses (along with our outsourcing partners over at Winking). I helped with feedback along way but the heavy lifting was done by our awesome team and the folks over at TAKEOFF Creative who did a stellar job repurposing our assets and getting them prepped and set for printing.
