Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.

Art Director- 01/2019-05/21

Art Director on Harry Potter: Wizards Unite from Soft Launch, World Wide and all the way through Live Service. Worked with a team of artists and outsourcing vendors to create and maintain high visual quality of art. Prior to taking on the AD role, I was the staff character artist of the studio, leading the character team and assisting with feedback and approvals for our outsourced character art.

 

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Provided artistic direction for all visuals found in the game. 

  • Proactively gained alignment with PM’s, Design, and Engineering on new and existing features. 

  • Worked closely with leads and team members to assure the visual quality bar remains high and consistent.

  • Lead, mentored and provided feedback for all disciplines in the art department that consisted of concept, UI, animation, character/environment modelers, and an outsource manager.

  • Built art decks to be used for approvals from stakeholders.

  • Built art decks to be used for art kickoffs.

  • Constantly communicated  with other departments to ensure their art needs were met.
